30.03.2022
This was the topic of a guest lecture of Anita Thaler in the course of the “Karl Popper Kolleg SEEROSE: Ethics and Security“ at the University Klagenfurt. She explained examples of intersectional axes of discrimination of artificial intelligence (AI) und discussed with international students.

Amongst other things they discussed the special importance of responsible AI at the working place, because of the hierarchical power relations. Consequently, Thaler presented the participatory technology design projects VEKIAA, dAIalog.at and VITAPATCH,  focusing on an early involvement of stakeholders, which is one of the key principles of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).
