3. December 2025

The IFZ is a member of the Graz Climate Pact and had the pleasure of taking part in the one-year anniversary celebration on Wednesday, 26 November 2025.

The Graz Climate Pact is a voluntary initiative by the City of Graz that supports companies, organizations, and private individuals in contributing to the city’s goal of becoming climate neutral by 2040. Participants commit to reducing their climate footprint and increasing their climate handprint — meaning they aim not only to lower their own emissions but also to encourage others to act in more climate-friendly ways. The city provides advice, networking opportunities, information exchange, and support for implementing climate measures.

As of early November 2025, 99 companies and organizations are already part of the Climate Pact. We are pleased to be part of this initiative and will continue working to reduce our emissions while supporting others on their path to climate neutrality through our contributions in sustainability research.

Joining the Climate Pact is possible at any time. Further information can be found at: www.klimaschutz.graz.at
