proCURE Project Successfully Completed
6. May 2026
The “proCURE – Working Together for Sustainable Procurement in Small Communities” project was successfully completed at the end of April. The materials and resources developed are now available for download.
proCURE aimed to promote sustainable public procurement in small municipalities. The goal is to support municipalities in integrating environmental, social, and economic criteria more effectively into their procurement processes, thereby actively contributing to sustainable development.
The focus was on developing practical materials such as manuals, training materials, and training programs. These are intended to help administrative staff implement sustainable procurement more easily and reduce existing uncertainties. At the same time, concepts were developed that enable municipalities to purchase jointly with other municipalities, thereby acting more efficiently and sustainably.
These materials are now available on the Alliance in the Alps website and can be downloaded here (at the very bottom of the page).
