Anna Schreuer studied Mathematics at the University of Vienna and Science and Technology Studies at the University of Edinburgh. From 2006 to 2018, she worked as a researcher at IFZ; the Department of Science, Technology and Society Studies at the University of Klagenfurt; and as a research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies on Science, Technology and Society, Graz. In May 2015, she completed her doctoral studies in Science and Technology Studies. Since 2018 she works as a scientific coordinator and postdoctoral researcher at the Doctoral Programme Climate Change at the University of Graz, and since October 2021 she is once again a researcher at IFZ.
In her research, she deals with innovation and transformation processes in the energy and mobility sector from a social science perspective. She focuses on grassroots innovations developed by bottom-up actors at the local and regional level.
